Regarding Captive Cervid Permit renewals:
Spoke with Tommy Apostopoulos at F&W tonight. Their commission passed a regulation to raise fees, permits, licenses, etc every two years. He was unaware it would hit this year, but it did. Expect your check to be returned if you sent $150 and it wasn’t cashed as of 2 weeks ago or so. I am in this boat, so I will have to wait for the returned check and mail them a new one for $158.45 or whatever the adjusted fee is.
Tommy is a good guy, this was a F&W committee thing and he is dealing with the headaches. They will work with the end of February deadline considering the confusion. If you don’t get positive results, please let us know.
